Mobility Access Information
Wheelchair and Stroller Access
Bran Castle is not accessible to wheelchair users. The tour route involves a steep uphill path to the entrance and numerous narrow, winding staircases inside. There are no elevators or ramps within the historic structure.
Similarly, strollers are not permitted inside the castle due to the stairs and narrow corridors. Baby carriers are a recommended alternative for visitors with infants.
Visitors with Limited Mobility
Visitors who can walk but have difficulty with stairs should be aware that the tour requires climbing several flights of stairs, some of which are steep and uneven. There are very few places to sit and rest along the tour route inside the castle. The Royal Park at the base of the castle is more accessible and offers a pleasant experience.
